The decision for this to be the first section of the Library was a no-brainer; Family definitely fitting into this Library’s self-imposed imprimatur: a lasting record and in grateful acknowledgment of, and, tribute to PERSONS who figured, in one way or another, in the life of WAGA.
A good number of them have passed, including WAGA’s parents, Ruperto and Regina as well as his wife, Pilar. This Library offers an opportunity to record for posterity, some things to remember them by. Artifacts thankfully are available from within the Family and without, and, our expectation is that more and more of these artifacts will be coming our way to find a place in this Library.
Ruperto C. Arpon, a teacher, left behind a number of things before he passed away. One in particular, written in his own hand, from his own recollection, copious notes on our Family Tree. From its present repository where no one else has seen it but his second son, it will be in this Library in due time.
